Welcome to MealMutt. By accessing or using the MealMutt app at https://mealmutt.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MealMutt, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use MealMutt.

2. Not a Substitute for Veterinary Advice

MealMutt is not liable for any health outcomes resulting from the use of recipes, calorie calculations, supplement recommendations, or any other content provided in the app.

3. No Guarantee of Results

Every dog is different. Calorie calculations are based on general veterinary formulas (Resting Energy Requirement) and AAFCO guidelines and are provided as estimates only. Actual nutritional needs vary by individual dog. MealMutt makes no guarantee that any recipe or calculation will meet your specific dog's needs.

4. Supplement Recommendations

Supplement suggestions in MealMutt are based on publicly available veterinary research for informational purposes. They are not medical prescriptions. Always consult your veterinarian before adding supplements to your dog's diet, especially if your dog is on medication or has a health condition.

5. Pro Subscription

MealMutt offers a paid subscription ("MealMutt Pro") with the following terms:

• Subscriptions are billed monthly ($4.99/mo) or annually ($39/yr)
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled
• You may cancel at any time through your Stripe billing portal
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period

6. Affiliate Links

MealMutt participates in the Amazon Associates Program and may include affiliate links to products on Amazon and Chewy. We earn a small commission when you make a purchase through these links at no additional cost to you. We only recommend products we believe are appropriate for dogs based on our research. However, we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or accuracy of third-party products.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within MealMutt — including the MealMutt name, logo, recipe content, app design, and written materials — is the intellectual property of MealMutt and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any MealMutt content without express written permission.

8. User Responsibilities

By using MealMutt, you agree to:

• Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the app's content or code
• Not misuse the waitlist or email features for spam or abuse
• Take full responsibility for how you apply the information provided

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

MealMutt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that the information provided is complete, accurate, or up to date. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app at any time without notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MealMutt and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to your dog's health outcomes, financial loss from affiliate purchases, or reliance on nutritional information provided.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of MealMutt after changes means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
